Whole-school updates

  • Cross Country: Alongside this, our staff have continued engaging in professional learning focused on Explicit Teaching practices, ensuring we continue to refine and strengthen the learning experiences we provide for students each day
  • Sport: After a break from science for cross country we got back into planning experiments to investigate if substances are soluble (they dissolve) or insoluble (they don't dissolve)
  • Maths Group: Our math group students are building their understanding of multiplication and division
  • Visual Arts: In Visual Arts, we have continued with Australian artists that are inspired by nature
  • Excursions & Camps: The activity table lists We also have two whole-school excursions taking place in the final weeks of term
  • Sport: Next Friday, we wish Seb and Arlo all the very best as they represent both our school and the local PSSA at the Regional Cross Country Carnival at Nana Glen

Reminders

  • We had the added pleasure of having Enya bring in her insect collection to have as models for the insects that were then drawn, painted and collaged onto the foreground
