Whole-school updates

  • School Performance 'Paint Outside the Lines': It's showtime! The big performance is on Thursday 13 August (6:30pm) and Friday 14 August (1:30pm & 5:30pm) at the OLMC Nalleijerring Centre. Please check the detailed drop-off, sign-in/out, and pickup times for each show. Students should bring a water bottle and a snack in a small bag, but no electronic devices. A professional USB of the show will be available to order, with $5 from each purchase supporting the Arts program.
  • Book Week Fun: Get those costumes ready! The Book Week celebration is on Friday 21 August, starting with a morning parade on the basketball court where families are welcome. Students are encouraged to dress as their favourite book character. The day also includes a whole-school picnic and a visit from author/illustrator Nicky Johnston.
  • Father's / Special Person's Day: The P&C will hold a Stall on Friday 28 August for kids to buy a gift (items $1-$7), so please send them with some money. A special celebratory Breakfast will be held in the school hall on Friday 4 September.
  • School Improvement Surveys (MACSSIS): From Monday 31 August to Friday 18 September, you'll receive an email with a link to a confidential survey about our school. Your feedback is super valuable for future planning, so please take a few minutes to fill it out.
  • PIC Trivia Night & Fundraising: Tickets for the 'A Touch of Pink' Trivia Night on Saturday 24 October will go on sale from Tuesday 18 August. It's a parents-and-carers-only event, and tickets are $35. The PIC is also looking for volunteers for the Father's Day events and a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle on Sunday 13 September.
