Whole-school updates

  • Staff Farewell: A huge thank you and heartfelt goodbye to Sharon Armstrong, our Teacher of the Deaf in the Deaf Hub, who is heading off on long service leave from the beginning of Term 3 (Monday 13 July) until the end of the year. We wish her all the best in her new ventures!
  • Hearing Australia Visits: Plan ahead for upcoming Hearing Australia visits on Tuesday 23 June, Tuesday 28 July, Tuesday 25 August, Tuesday 6 October, Tuesday 10 November, and Tuesday 15 December.
  • Mid-Year Band Concert Recap: Our talented students performed at the Mid-Year Band Concert on Wednesday 17 June at Montmorency Secondary College, marking the 5th collaboration and 9th Superband performance with around 150 performers from Grade 3 through to VCE. Well done to all!
  • Staffing Updates: We extend a warm welcome back to Marian Deville, who joins Meg McLaren in 1B teaching Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Courtney Smith also returns, joining the Year 6 team and providing intervention support on Fridays. Mellita Farmer has increased her hours and will teach 1A on Mondays while Sarah McLellan is on maternity leave.
  • Semester Reports: Semester One reports will be released via Compass on Wednesday 24 June afternoon. Due to recent protected industrial action, written teacher comments will not be included, but progression points will still be visible.
  • Three-Way Conferences: Look out for more information on three-way conferences in Week 4 of Term 3 (week of 3 August), which will be booked via Compass to discuss your child's learning.
