Whole-school updates

  • Building Works: Stage 1 is running ahead of schedule, with the corner building being demolished for a new two-storey facility. Bilyonendi Hall's refurbishment has also begun and is planned for completion in late August.
  • OSHC & Playgroup Moves: OSHC has temporarily relocated to GLAs 3-6 (access via Botting St, sign in at GLA 3). Playgroup and Occasional Care have moved to GLAs 3 & 4. OSHC is also now using the Xplor app for bookings.
  • SEQTA Reports: Term 2 reports will be distributed electronically at the end of the term. Please log in to the SEQTA app to check your access is working and ensure notifications are switched on.
  • Sacramental Program: Many students will celebrate their Confirmation towards the end of June, renewing their Baptismal promises and being blessed with the Oil of Chrism.
  • National Simultaneous Storytime: The school read Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller and enjoyed a special visit from Animals Anonymous, where students loved interacting with native animals including Queenie the quokka!
  • Music Ensembles: Rehearsals are going strong! Ukulele Club meets Thursday lunchtimes, and the Festival Choir rehearses on Friday afternoons. The Choir has a Hub Assessment at Nazareth Catholic College towards the end of Term 2.
