Parent information

If a child is ill or injured at school they are placed in the first aid room and monitored, and parents are phoned if further medical attention is required. Please keep residential and postal addresses, telephone numbers and workplace details current, and provide local emergency contacts other than parents, ideally someone who lives nearby.

Parent information

Medication brought to school must be in its original packaging showing the child's name with the doctor's instructions, and dosages must be in writing or on the package. A Medication Authority Form with specific instructions is required for first aid staff to administer medicine, and medications are stored in the locked first aid cupboard, except Ventolin/Asmol and Epipens, which children are encouraged to carry.
