Whole-school updates

  • Term 2 Wrap-Up: What a term! Students have been deeply engaged in Literacy, Numeracy, and Science inquiry, supported by staff committed to continuous improvement. The school is buzzing about the momentum carrying into Term 3.
  • Wellbeing & Learning: Our dedicated Wellbeing Team, including Learning Specialist Joanna King and Mental Health & Wellbeing Leaders Ashley Hamilton and Adrienne Posar, works hand-in-hand with teaching and learning initiatives. This partnership ensures students feel safe, connected, and supported.
  • Consultant Partnerships: We're strengthening teaching pedagogies with external consultants Bron Ryrie-Jones (Numeracy) and Danny Hyndman (Independent Reading and Conferring), supported internally by Alex Silvestro (Teaching & Learning Specialist) and Meg Dickson (Literacy Leader).
  • Stand Up Project: The 2026 Stand Up Leaders, easily spotted in their new red jackets, have been elected and are actively teaching younger students how to be upstanders. They are also recognising positive behaviour with Upstander Awards.
  • Behaviour Support: Work continues with a SWPBS coach to review and implement an updated school-wide behaviour matrix and flowchart in Semester 2.
  • Respectful Relationships: The school is reviewing its RRRR program delivery to inform a whole-school wellbeing scope and sequence for later in 2026.
