Whole-school updates

  • Staff News: Our wonderful Wellbeing Worker, Robyn, has retired after making a huge positive impact on our school community, initiating programs like Breakfast Club and Kids Hope Mentors. Margaret and Principal Angela will be interviewing for a new wellbeing worker tomorrow, Friday 26 June.
  • School Environment: The new pavement decals depicting school values and games like 'What's The Time Mr. Wolf?' have been a huge hit, thanks to AP Margaret for organizing them to brighten up our school yard.
  • Diphtheria Alert: The Department of Health has advised of diphtheria outbreaks in some parts of Australia (none in Victoria yet). Vaccination is the best protection; please check your family's vaccination records, especially if traveling to higher-risk areas during holidays. Free vaccinations are available for eligible groups.
  • International Students: Greensborough will welcome short-term international students from China next term for 2-4 weeks, offering a great cross-cultural exchange experience. The fees from these visitors help fund staff planning days and school resources.
  • 2027 Prep Enrolments: If you know families (including siblings of current students) planning for Prep next year, please encourage them to register their details ASAP. Early registrations help the school plan for future grade structures.
  • OSHClub Holiday HQ: The Holiday HQ program kicks off next week, running from Monday 29 June to Friday 10 July. Remember to book your child in at least 24 hours before each session. Parents are reminded to pack plenty of food and snacks, ensure all belongings are clearly labelled, and note that OSHClub is a nut-free environment. Medication reminders are also provided.
