Whole-school updates

  • Principal's Message: It's been a fantastic couple of weeks celebrating student achievement, kindness, and respect. The Peer Support program is now running, and students are engaging with wellbeing frameworks like the Zones of Regulation to help understand their emotions. A big thank you to families for reinforcing these values at home.
  • a student 2027 Enrolments: We are now accepting enrolments for Kindy 2027, including for out-of-area families! If you have a little one starting school, please enrol them online, even if you already have kids at GWPS. School tours for prospective families are running, with the next one on Tuesday 16 June at 9:40am.
  • Semester 1 Reports: Heads up, parents! Your child's Semester 1 report will be available electronically through the School Bytes portal on Wednesday 1 July. We'll let you know when they're live. 📄
  • The Return of the Beyblades: They're back! Just Beyblades and other toys are for recess and lunch play only (after eating). Please make sure they're clearly labelled and kept out of classrooms so we can keep the learning distractions to a minimum.
  • Punctuality Please: Learning kicks off at 9:10am sharp. Arriving on time helps your child (and everyone else's) have a great start to the day. Late arrivals must sign in at the office.
  • Pyjama Day!: Get ready to get comfy! The SRC is hosting a Pyjama Day on Thursday 18 June. Students can come to school in their PJs for a gold coin donation, which will go towards the Year 6 Graduation.
