Whole-school update

  • Book Week is coming: Get those costumes ready! The theme is 'Symphony of Stories' and the week culminates in a whole-school parade on Friday 28 August at 9:15am. Parents are welcome to come and watch!
  • Fundraising Movie Afternoon: On Friday 28 August at 12:00pm, the SRC is hosting a movie afternoon to raise funds for The Smith Family. It's $2 for a ticket, with an extra $2 for an Oodie, toy, or snack. Please send money in with your child.
  • Father's Day Events: The PFA is hosting 'Dudes and Doughnuts' on the morning of Friday 4 September (bookings close Thursday 20 August!), followed by a 'Dads of Gardenvale' (DOGS) lunch at Stomping Ground Brewery. Tickets are required for both.
  • Road Safety Reminder: A gentle nudge to please not park across driveways during drop-off and pickup times, and to use the school crossing. Let's keep our kids and neighbours safe!
  • Parent Opinion Survey: If you have a spare 20 minutes, the school would appreciate you completing the Parent Opinion Survey. The link and pin code are in the Compass message sent out by the principal.
  • TeamKids Term 3 and Holiday Care: TeamKids clubs run after school this term, with Book Week activities from 24-28 August. Spring holiday care runs at the Junior Campus from 7:00am-6:00pm on 21-24 September and 28 September-2 October (closed 25 September). Daily activities are Big Ideas Lab, Forgotten Island, Ready Set Soar, Footy Fever, VR Escape, Colour Blast, Zone Bowling, Bounce, and Petals, Pollen & Play. Arrive by 9:00am on excursion days. Advertised daily fees range from $92.67-$136.67 before CCS, plus a $5 family admin fee. Book through TeamKids.
