Whole-school updates

  • Student Free Day: Monday 24 August is a Staff Professional Learning Day and no classes will run.
  • Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences: Thursday 10 September. Year 12 bookings open Wednesday 26 August at 12:00pm; Years 7 to 11 bookings open Friday 28 August at 12:00pm; all bookings close Wednesday 9 September at 12:00pm. Interview windows are 9:00am-10:30am, 10:45am-12:30pm, 1:15pm-3:00pm and 3:10pm-4:30pm. No classes run, but students attend their booked interviews.
  • Uniform Reminder: The winter uniform applies for Term 3. Hoodies, branded socks, Nike runners and branded tracksuits are not permitted. PE uniform is only for designated PE practical days.
  • Book Week: Dress Up Day is Tuesday 25 August, the Big Book Quiz and Book Swap are Wednesday 26 August, the Scavenger Hunt is Thursday 27 August, and the Year 7 author visit and book debate are Friday 28 August.
  • Performing Arts: Backstage Pass public performances are Thursday 13 and Friday 14 August from 7:15pm to 8:15pm in the EDSC Performing Arts Centre. Attitudes: Step Into the Spotlight runs during school on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 September.
  • Parent Workshop: The free online Positive Parenting Strategies workshop runs Tuesday 25 August from 12:15pm to 1:30pm.
