Whole-school update

  • School Review Update: The school's formal four-year review took place last week, involving staff, students, and parents. The final report will be shared with the community soon and will help shape the strategic goals for the next four years.
  • St. Bernard's Day: We're celebrating our patron saint with a whole school Mass at 9:15am, followed by the Lap-a-thon for Mannya at 12:00pm. Students should wear their sports uniform. There's also a free sausage sizzle, but please note the canteen will be closed. Remember to let classroom teachers know about any dietary requirements by Monday 17 August.
  • Mannya Lapathon Fundraiser: Let's get sponsoring! Donations for our sister school in Uganda can be made online via School 24 until Friday 28 August. Every bit helps support the students at St Aloysius Primary School.
  • Teeth on Wheels: The dental van is visiting on Monday 24 August, Friday 28 August, and Monday 31 August. It's a super convenient way to get a check-up done. You can sign up using the e-form in the newsletter if you haven't already this year.
  • Save the Dates: Get your diaries out! The Father's Day Stall is on Thursday 3 September, followed by an Open Morning on Friday 4 September. The Parents Social Night is on Saturday 10 October - book your tickets now! And the big one, CARNIVALE, is on Saturday 14 November.
  • R U OK? Day (Thursday 10 September): To mark this important day of connection, students are invited to wear a touch of YELLOW with their school uniform.
