  • Early Finish: A reminder that Term 2 ends on Friday 26 June with an early dismissal at 2:30pm!
  • Excellence in Learning Award: A new award will be introduced to recognise one student from each year level for their outstanding dedication to learning across all subjects. Certificates will be presented at assembly on Friday 26 June.
  • Character Strengths: This week the focus is on the 'love of learning'. Families are encouraged to check out the VIA character strengths website and discuss how these strengths are present at home.
  • Open Streets Program: On Friday 17 July, Westbourne Street will be closed to traffic from 8:30-9:00am and 3:30-4:00pm for a day of riding, scooting, and walking to school safely, complete with games and obstacle courses.
  • Centenary Event Update: A special film celebrating 100 years of BNPS is in the works! Filming will happen on-site in early Term 3, and a community viewing on the school oval is planned for Friday 23 October.
  • E-Bike Subsidies: Merri-bek Council has a limited number of e-bike subsidies remaining before the program closes on Tuesday 30 June. Apply online at zerocarbonmerri-bek.org.au to claim $500 off a bike or subscription.
