Whole-school updates

  • Student Free Day: Heads up, there's no school for students on Tuesday 16 June. This is a curriculum day for staff assessment and reporting. VCE students completing a Unit 3-4 subject are still required to attend for the GAT.
  • Winter Concert: Get ready for a showcase of our talented musicians at the annual Winter Concert on Tuesday 16 June at 7:00pm in the school gym. All are welcome!
  • Dental Van Visit: The Australian Smile Group Dental Van will be at school from Monday 17 August to Friday 21 August. If you'd like your child to attend, please return the consent form by Friday 31 July. This is an optional service.
  • CSEF Applications Closing Soon: Applications for the Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) close on Friday 26 June. Eligible families receive $400 per student as a credit on their school account. Forms are available from the office.
  • Semester 2 Reports: Reports will be available on Compass on the last day of term, Friday 26 June. Due to AEU industrial action, reports will not have written comments this semester, but you can still see detailed feedback on individual assessment tasks in Compass.
  • Parents Association: The next meeting is on Monday 3 August at 7:15pm, with the topic 'Career Pathways at BHS'. All are welcome! The Second Hand Book and Uniform Shop will be open next on Friday 19 June from 8:30am to 9:30am.
