Whole-school updates

  • Parent/Carer Opinion Survey: The school is asking for your feedback via the annual survey, which is open until Friday 18 September. Check the Compass notification from Monday 17 August for your login details. It takes about 20 minutes and helps the school plan for the future.
  • Book Week Parade: Book Week activities are on Thursday 27 August. The school calendar lists 9:00am, while the library note says the parade starts at 9:30am; classrooms and the library are open until 11am. Check Compass or the school for the confirmed arrival time. Families are invited and can donate a new or pre-loved book.
  • Smile Squad Dental Van: The free school dental van starts its visits from Monday 24 August. If you'd like your child to be seen, make sure you register them using the link in the newsletter.
  • APS Fair is GO: The school fair is happening on Saturday 24 October and the call is out for volunteers and donations! They need helpers for stalls (Cakes, BBQ, Bar, Silent Auction) and donations of Halloween decorations, jams/preserves, and items for the Silent Auction. Time to start clearing out the garage for the Trashless Treasure stall too!
  • Canteen is Back: The canteen is running on even weeks of term (W4, W6, W8, W10). It's Tuesdays for Prep-Year 2 and Thursdays for Years 3-6.
